The Last Frontier of Unordinary Men
“Be on the alert, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong” - 1 Corinthians 16:13
What used to be ordinary and commonplace has now become the unordinary. Men had the freedom to be men. We built empires, did the impossible, and explored every reach of an unknown new world. We were as God intended and created us to be. We were so good at it that eventually life became easier and easier. The works of our intellect, ingenuity, and passion started to erode what made us men to begin with. It became acceptable to be ordinary. To sit on the sideline and never enter the game. Slowly, what made us men in the beginning, ventured into the unordinary. Many great men became few, and few became unique.
There is still hope.
Every man has it in him. He is born with the desire to do great things. It is the world that starts to strip this away. Mediocracy offers all it has at every turn. It tries to hand you the road already paved and lined with the accomplishments of other men before you. It asks you to rest and enjoy. If you accept this path, you will find emptiness, restlessness, and fear. Fear that you haven’t done enough or nothing at all. A restlessness of unfulfilled dreams. An emptiness only known by those who cowered to the challenge.
Let me be straightforward, the voices of dissent never cease. They only grow louder as you venture towards what you were meant to be. They want nothing more than for you to fail so they may throw you in the pile of ordinary men. They believe that is your rightful place amongst the masses. The Enemy finds you easier to control if you just stay silent and measure up to nothing. Your demise into the abyss of mediocrity has the aroma of victory.
You must not let this happen. You are obligated to your greater purpose to silence the voices and achieve what few men do. You do this with integrity, strong morals, and a spirit unwilling to surrender. You owe it to God, your family, and yourself to stand on the outside of ordinary and pull others towards the path less traveled. All men are born leaders. The only thing holding you back is you and your unwillingness to stand up and stand out.
The boundaries have been set and this is the final frontier for unordinary men. There is nowhere else to run. Our backs are against the wall. Surrender is no longer an option. The debauchery and hedonism of the World is pushing us further and further to the edge. The Lord has called upon the Godly men to plant their feet and charge forward against the principalities of darkness to prepare for His return. Are you willing? Now is the time to answer your call. Amen
